The blog is going to go dark for the next few days, as the Danish Store Bededag (“Great Prayer Day”) holiday weekend dovetails perfectly with my need for a little extra time to attend to private matters, not least among those some time away from the news.
It’s a well-timed break, and by jumping into the holiday weekend a little early, I’ll be spared the misery of reviewing the Danish media’s tongue-bath coverage of Joe Biden’s pseudo-SOTU last night.
(I’ve only skimmed the big news sites, but I haven’t found a critical word or a “fact check” anywhere in the Danish press. Maybe I didn’t look hard enough. And maybe it’s going to start raining diamonds.)
